Amazon suck for getting stuff out on time. I stopped preordering games from them when they repeatedly missed sending them before the release date and sent them same day or after. Better to buy from a store.

They can't post something if it is not in stock. 
I think your faster getting from amazon (or ebay) than ordering through a store. That can take a week or more.
